Local Artist to Speak About Artist In Residence
Experience at Petrified Forest National Park



When: Feb. 13, 2012 at the Rio Rancho Art Association membership Meeting
Membership meetings consist of membership updates and business (about the first half hour to 45 minutes of the meeting) followed by the program. You need not be a member to attend.
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Soul Rio Church (Soul Rio Church is located on the northeast side of the intersection at Southern Blvd. and Unser Blvd. in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

On Monday, Feb. 13th, RRAA member, Paula Scott will speak about her Artist in Residence (AIR) experience at Petrified Forest National Park. Artist in Residence programs allow visiting artists to stay and work in a focused way for an extended period of time. Many of our national parks offer AIR programs. Subject matter will range from the application process, to the experience while there for 2 weeks. This event is open to the public-you need not be a member to attend and it is free of charge.
